Simon Clemenger BIO

Simon Clemenger began his photographic career by studying at Falmouth College of Art before spending three years as an assistant to Rankin — one of the UK's most celebrated portrait and fashion photographers. Those early years shaped Simon's eye for bold, character-driven imagery and established the foundation for an international career spanning over 25 years.

Since then, Simon has built a successful career as a fashion photographer and videographer, shooting campaigns and editorial work across the UK, Europe and the US for high-end brands, advertising clients and leading magazines. His work covers fashion photography, commercial campaigns, editorial photography, eyewear campaigns and creative film production.

In 2017, Simon launched HEY GIRL, an independent fashion magazine championing creativity, equality and collaboration. Now in its eighth year, HEY GIRL has featured work from photographers, stylists, musicians and artists across the UK, and is recognised for its strong body positivity and inclusive editorial voice.

Based in Brighton and working across London, the UK and internationally, Simon brings over 25 years of industry experience to every project — from brand campaigns and editorial shoots to AI-generated creative content and brand films.
